Understanding the Kingdom of God

Today I would love to share with you about the Kingdom of God. It is a share from our last sermon, lesson and Bible study at the Church.

So, we have all heard about the Kingdom of God mentioned, preached, and explained. The Kingdom is here. Jesus said so. And it is here to stay even after time passes away. The only way to be a part of it is to believe in Jesus, be born again, repent, and yes, be a follower of the WAY, TRUTH, and LIFE.

So, there were different books read as follows;

There is much about how we all can explain the Kingdom. But here is a 6th-year-old explanation to anyone who has been to Church for ages or is new to faith. Remember, the focus should be God.

We are all parts of the kingdoms we are born into.

We are all coming from different kingdoms. Have you heard of the Kingdom of God? Want to know, the Holy Spirit teaches.

So, In our church, there are more than 10 of them. Ad with that, we have so many differences. And this comes from or is due to What makes kingdoms we come from.

For instance, there are:

– People
– King
– Laws
– Culture
– Land
– Systems
– Government

– Policies
– Language
– Traditions
– Regulations
– Lifestyle
– Currency
– Image
*** Just to mention a few

With that in mind, moving from one kingdom to another is work in its own right. It takes time, and years, to get used to, adapt to, understand, and become in the flow with what is really going on in that kingdom.

Back to Jesus and the Kingdom

Jesus came to earth to bring a new Kingdom. How do you become a part of a Kingdom? You are to be born into it to partake of what it offers. The rights, the favours, and everything else that comes with being a citizen. And, this Holy Kingdom of God, Jesus preached and taught about it as He was going to become the sacrifice it took to buy and allow anyone who wants to be able to become. And that took a lot, the establishment, surrender, tears, hard work and trust. It took a sacrifice, a buy, a purchase.

Do you understand why Jesus spoke about the Kingdom many times then maybe ever spoke about salvation?

Notice the following;

  • Jesus did not only bring salvation but He brought the end of that salvation, why are we saved? Why should we believe? Why should we get saved?
  • To be a part of a system that will enable us to become who we are, truly. The children of God, servants and vessels ready for work, the Kingdoms on earth.
  • To be carriers of the heavenly, holy mandates in the kingdoms we are located.
  • Living knowing that, we are mandated by the Kingdom of God to represent God and everything He is on this earth. Math 3
  • Repent for the Kingdom of God is near. Repentance. Why should you repent? Why should you turn?
  • Because, you are to become a part of something better, mightier and eternal. You can not go there as you are. You need to turn from the wicked ways and become a vessel ready for service.
  • Life does not end here. Life is eternal, it flows forever. Watch nature, learn. Life is continuous even after we are dead. And yes, we are aware of death. The dead aren’t aware of the living. We belong to different systems.

The Kingdom of God

In simple words. God is the King, believers are the people, the servants, representatives and carriers of the power to rule and have dominion over everything that is created. In addition, they are the conquerors over everything that does not reflect His power, nature, love and being. Over the systems of this world, which are influenced by the darkness.

Ephesians 6:12 that we wrestle against more than what non-believers can comprehend. It is beyond what we see. And we live with a consciousness that, we were born into a fight. As long as one is born of a woman there are fights, as one is born of the Spirit and fire, there are wars. The good side, the war is worn. Believe, live and become, is what we fight for in Christ. For the darkest places of this world are full of habitations of cruelty Psalm 74:20. We choose life, love, power and being to overcome ~ in Christ Jesus.

Some of the verses on the Kingdom you can read:

Do not try to use, adapt, or adopt your lifestyle from one Kingdom to another; IT WILL NEVER WORK

Do not also attempt to use what you have in the Kingdom of God wrongly, where you are located. It will not work. You must always remember, you are of the Kingdom of God when you believe.

For instance, the first part of this verse; For a man thinketh, so is he. Proverbs 23:7. As much as you believe you are, there is more to what maketh you become him you believe. Work, obedience, surrender and trust in God and his guidance through the Holy Spirit. As well as relationships and people that God will raise for you. You will need wisdom and discernment for that. You can become, but not alone.

Embracing the Kingdom of God mentality

And with that, you need to embrace His AUTHORITY in your living in the place, kingdom or country you are located in. You can not act this out. Bringing God’s Kingdom or rather aligning with the mission, needs you to be a part of the finished work of Christ. Everything must flow from you, God must flow through you. For that to be, you will have to be rooted in the Kingdom. No mixture. No lukewarm. Burning for God. God, ALONE.

Even in countries, if you are affiliated with two lands, in a non-affiliated, likely to be named a spy. Know who you are committed to. Understand the Kingdom and what it requires for you to be a part of. It is not a spiritual awareness you walk with here, there are actions, observations, directions and operations that you will be a part of.

Different from the spy work, here you have nothing to hide. I am of God, born of God and living for the Kingdom of God. Signs wonders and powers will prove so through the Holy Spirit dwelling inside me. With the fruits borne and multiplying through love, peace, joy, gentleness, self-control, faithfulness, kindness, righteousness, and forbearance (patience) all will know, and see more in us. They will see, meet and be directed to God in Jesus, through the work of the Spirit of God in us all.

What Kingdom are you into?

Sometimes? Most of the time? Always?

Being born in the Kingdom of GOD

Read the story in John 3; Jesus and Nicodemus

  • Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.
  • Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.
  • Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
  • You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’
  • The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
  •  For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

How many of us are citizens of the kingdoms and countries we live in because we were born into those countries or kingdoms? All of Us.

That’s why we need to be and GET BORN AGAIN in the Kingdom of God.

  • Thy Kingdom COME, on earth as it is in HEAVEN
  • We are bringing the Kingdom of God to the world and places we are
  • The KINGDOM and EVERYTHING IT REPRESENTS
  • Never forget, the Kingdom, the King, the Laws, and the Lifestyle must and will be reflected
  • Do you understand how the experience you have when using a downloaded application to a device is different to accessing the site through the web?
  • Same with being a part of a kingdom and just having a visa to live in that country
  • That’s how different it is to understand, living with a Kingdom consciousness and lifestyle, as a citizen to being someone who just explores faith, beliefs and religions
  • Become a part of, into, with everything, not only  Sunday believer,
  • Become a citizen, a child, a people, servant and vessel, partaker of the building work and the GLORY

How do you get born again?

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Believe. Choose to believe.

Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

Believe. Choose the light. Choose the light. It is a journey, believing in Jesus is the first step of eternity. It is a relationship that begins with that step. Step of faith, courage and love. Choose.
