4. Endurance Joy 🏃

James 1:2-3 encourages us, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.

It’s the joy of persevering through challenges and growing stronger. It is not that challenges or life is made easy, but finding a reason to celebrate even in the middle of chaos or trouble, speaks a lot about who we rely on, and who we trust. When we face trials, it’s easy to feel discouraged and defeated. But James 1:2-3 encourages us to consider it pure joy when we face trials of many kinds. Why? Because the testing of our faith produces perseverance. And just like Paul writes in Romans 5: 3-5 says “We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance builds character; and through character, hope.”

So, even in suffering, when you consider it all purposeful, and worthy, you are likely to work it out believing, it is not permanent nor eternal. So, if it is about a business you would keep pushing; school studying; working keep searching and going -building yourself; and a dream, working to realise it.

Perseverance

Perseverance is the ability to keep going, even when things are tough. It’s the strength to keep our eyes on the prize, even when we’re tempted to give up. And it’s the power to grow stronger in our faith, even when we’re faced with challenges.

When we persevere through trials, we’re not only building our faith, but we’re also experiencing the joy of overcoming. It’s the joy of knowing that we can do anything with God by our side. It’s the joy of seeing our faith grow stronger. And it’s the joy of knowing that we’re one step closer to crossing the finish line.

5. Sharing Joy 😄

The one you can pass around like a high-five! This joy is about sharing the love of Jesus with others. Acts 20:35 shares the wise words of Jesus. Acts 20:35 shares the wise words of Jesus, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” When we give of ourselves, we are opening ourselves up to the love of God and allowing it to flow through us to others. This is a powerful experience that can bring joy and transformation to both the giver and the receiver.

There are many ways to share the love of Jesus with others. We can do so through our words, our actions, and our prayers. We can also share our love by simply being present for others and listening to them with compassion. When we share our love with others, we are making a difference in the world. We are helping to create a more loving and compassionate community, and we are spreading the hope of Jesus Christ.

So let’s share the love of Jesus with others and make the world a better place.

**Example:** When you share your faith with a friend, and you see their eyes light up with the gladness of knowing Jesus for themselves. Like when a child chooses to pray for food. Think of when you taught your little daughter or son about sharing and the next time she or he was with friends, shared something you gave him or her. That gladness in the heart knowing you did that. I believe it is what makes the Father’s heart glad when we also share His Word with others or when we testify of Him of His mighty acts to others.

There you have it

Joy comes in all shapes and sizes, and the Bible is flowing with reminders that God is the BEST and His joy endures forever. So, let’s celebrate, be grateful, endure with a smile, and share the joy with everyone around us! It’s not dependent on our circumstances but on our relationship with Christ. It’s full of hope, peace, and love.

So, let’s celebrate that joy! Let’s be grateful for all that God has given us, and let’s let our joy shine through in everything we do. Let’s endure with a smile, even when things are tough. And let’s share our joy with everyone around us. Here are a few ways to do that:

  • Be grateful. Take time each day to think about all the things you have to be grateful for. Write them down in a journal or share them with a friend.

  • Endure with a smile. When things are tough, don’t let your circumstances get the best of you. Keep your focus on God and His promises. Like in Mathew 6:16-18. Wash your face, and carry yourself with a living spirit, especially when things aren’t working

  • Share your joy with others. Let your joy be a light to the world. Be kind, compassionate, and generous. Let others see the love of Christ in you.

  • Celebrate your faith. Go to church, worship God, and spend time with other believers

Young or old, dear reader, you are the present and future of the church and world. You have the power to change lives for the better. Let your joy be a light and lighthouse of hope for everyone around you! 🌟💕
