January: A New Day, A New Beginnings

Waking Up

I knew how the day started was way off. With late waking up and the snoozed button, hit again and again. With early dreams or memories, I kept on turning over the bed, sitting up and going back to sleep. What would a day like that be?

With lots of questions in mind today, I am reminded about Stewardship & Surrender.

  • What has God given you?
  • What has God put on your watch?
  • What are you holding back from God?
  • You want to change but, what is that one thing you are not giving up to God in surrender?

In Stewardship

God has trusted you enough for a new day. Thought you would start with a grand thing like a mission or vision, goal or plan? It is a major gift in life and nothing compares to it. A day to God is like a thousand years and a thousand years is like a day to God. A day and for a day, with and in God anything can become nothing and nothing can become everything. A breath away, your journey is over and you are welcomed back home. A day is all it takes. You can be sent back with a mission, vision and glory that no ear ever heard, no eye ever seen. This is what God store for those He loves.

This day, live and steward that which is in your hands. It is a gift, a mission and a vision. Remember, it is all for God and the glory of God. It is for your own good in peace, love, being and joy as well. It is for growth and becoming, the best version and who we are, the best we are.

In Surrender

God steward us with missions and assignments. But, it is easy to forget that God does it all for His own. And yet, He does everything Himself through us as vessels. It becomes easy to think of the burden and hardships that will be encountered when choosing to go ahead with the vision and mission. Easy as it is forgetting, God the giver of the mission will stand to accomplish it only, through us. It is only in giving back and surrendering what is given by God to God that will we be truly able to accomplish gloriously. Because the glory is His who sent us.

In stewardship and in surrender, may your day begin and end. Remember, today matters. A day is like a thousand years. And a thousand years as a day, in God, through God and to God. Trust in Him who moves in eternal to bring the eternity impact and glory in what you are given to do. And as we are given to steward, may we do that in full obedience and in surrender.

Good day!
