Taxi Driver 🚕

The first series I will be talking about in this series is Taxi Driver. I love this series just because it’s Korean and second because it communicates different issues, addressing different issues in our societies and communities today. 

It has two seasons so far.  The whole picture is that a person shouldn’t be alone when they are hurting. The key message that they’re carrying is you’re not alone.  Life is of different issues faced daily. With these, nobody should live alone or go through them alone. There is help in every stage of life from childhood to old and in circumstances being wealthy or poverty.

Do not be alone,  not when you’re hurting.

In every episode, the focus is on showing that there are people out. These people are ready to help you with whatever situation you’re facing. They’re showing the information of the police, the health centre and the people that you would reach or you can reach to talk to them about your issue or your situation. 

Call the Taxi, get help.

This all is to help you focus on getting yourself help. All events show different sides of life. So before you have any more hurt or pain to that; Why don’t you consult these people? Why don’t you talk to someone? Before the pain, you carry drives you to the edge point like suicide or personal harm? That’s the message carried in here. 

We see the episodes each caring and different scenarios. Two episodes in one scene with the last four carrying the major message which was introduced at the beginning of season 2. So you have 16 episodes with 5 to 7 settings and stories maximum, 2 episodes per week, and waiting time (the season is over – no worries 😌).

The Taxi Driver is about being someone who is in a position to help people although you’re working a casual job you meet a lot of people. And, in a meeting with people, you show support,  love, and appreciation. Above all, you listen attentively and follow up because someone needs your help and you can do so. 

For there’s always a person and one who can reach someone. And if this someone can lend a hand to someone else, help reaches those who need it most on time before the damage is done.

As a series, you want to watch this one. One of the most praised series in Korea throughout its airing and since the last episode for the Season 2 is already out, you will binge the fun as much as you want. 

Taxi Driver: Spoiler alert ⚠️ 

There are scenes with the best actors from other series and stories incorporated within this series making it all more surprising and funny. 

The main actors are Lee Je-Hoon, Kim Eui-Sung, Pyo Ye-Jin, Jang Hyuk-Jin, Bae Yoo-Ram and Shin Jae-Ha.

Taxi Driver was so much fun to watch.
