For without Faith, it is impossible to please God

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

When you read the letters in the New Testament, you will know more. Paul said it all.

Faith in Action in the Old Testament

Understand that faith is the key, the foundation, the fruit, the outcome, the price, the reward, the cost, everything etc. Faith. Is. Personal. Faith. Is. Everything. Believing there is God requires faith, believing He loves you needs faith, and knowing and surrendering to His leadership and authority is faith. Living with the awareness that He is the Creator and Saviour. Faith. He is the true God, He loves you, He cares for you and He wants fellowship with you. Faith.

Through faith and by faith we understand, know and are made aware;

Who God is, His being, power and presence through the things which He has caused to be. Just like the men and women who lived in those years;

  • Abel was counted righteous in his offerings
  • Enoch did not see death
  • Noah and his family were saved
  • Abraham received his inheritance
  • Sarah was given laughter through childbearing, the child from which, a generation, nations and a people were born as God promised Abraham
  • Abraham believed God to move,
  • Abraham believed to offer Isaac as an offering
  • Abraham receives the affirmation, seal of the blessing – bless, I will bless thee
  • Israel was born
  • Israel walked with God, crossing seas and was sustained in the wilderness
  • Again and again, the Judges rose, a reminder of His love for them, immeasurable, uncompromising love and promise keeper
  • Again and again, prophets were raised to remind the people of Him, His love and desire to be their God, the God of this people, the people He created. Again.
  • And again. He came, reminded, taught, spoke. But sin, sin-darkened man. He listened but never heard. He looked but never saw. Never understood. SO He CAME.
  • To dwell within man, lead him, teach him, be with Him, reveal Himself to him (man)
  • Only those (whoever) who believe (faith) are saved John 3:16

God’s Love

  • As a sacrifice, sin offerings died in the outcourt of the temple for eternal salvation to anyone who will believe Him.
  • He kept the promise of salvation, redemption and forgiveness, He came, HIMSELF.
  • We understand that, His love is unending, mercy immeasurable and grace abounding forever
  • He found us, He came for us, He saved us
  • He fights for us
  • He wants to be with us, here, leading us and being with us, living loving and following him
  • He wants to be known through us, His fruits, His love, peace, goodness, being, the Father
  • He wants His power within us, to help us walk in his will for His glory and our best
  • He wants to be a partner in our life, every step; a friend, the Lord; God manifested to all through us
  • For us to live, move and have our being in His presence and power, as He dwells with us and in us
  • He doesn’t want any of us lost to eternal condemnation
  • He wants us safe from the enemy, the devil and all the darkness,
  • He wants us to understand that, live as such and live with purpose
Repentance ~ The Kingdom by Tara Winstead

Do you know that

  • Our life is more than clothes, food, drinks… the presence of God makes the difference
  • Led, all point to Him, everything points men to Him,
  • The Spirit and Word worketh love, love, love within us
  • We need and are made holy vessels to carry His glory – for He can never settle on sin or impurity, or with defilement
  • He wants to teach us how to live as such, vessels… Carrying the God of the Universe, Holy God in us… for the world to know Him and seek Him
  • To go home and be with Him forever
  • It is a faith business, It is an eternity-eternal business,
  • It doesn’t end with death, this life.
  • Do you think so?
  • Do you believe it?
  • Do you believe Him?

God as the Focal Point of Faith

So many things were conducted in the Bible through and by faith. But what does the Word emphasize on faith; Faith in itself on He who has promised, Faith in God

Whether it was for healing or salvation, faith in the Word of God is about God Himself as the focal point.

Do you remember when Peter said, Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You upon the waters? And the Lord said, Come. He walked onto the water but when he saw the waves he started sinking. That is the faith essence. The focal point is He who IS. It is in His sovereignty and eternity that we draw and believe that whatever we believe in Him not doubting in our hearts, we shall have it. Anything.

The Woman with the Issue of Blood

Read Mathew 9: 20-22Luke 8:43-49, The woman with the issue of blood. There it was what Jesus said. She said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. How was it important for her story to be shared even in the Gospels? The fact that she believed and went for her miracle. She believes. Then, she acted. She received it.

Faith in Time, Time in Faith

The woman with the issue of blood in this passage is fascinating.  See, Jesus was going to the Jailo’s house for her daughter who on the way received the news that she was dead. The interesting part to think about was, the woman was having the issue of blood for 12 years, Jailos daughter was 12 years and Jesus was 30 then when He started His work.

Everyone was there.

Jesus was still working at His father’s carpentry workshop before this moment. But when their miracle moment, hours were ready, Jesus was ready as well. Maybe it is just an observation. One thing is for sure, what if the woman with the issue of blood was not there? What if she had not believed? I think faith is what IS. When God says to move, you MOVE. At that same moment, without wavering or doubting. Like breathing, naturally. Things happen we believe, when we believe.

My Redeemer Lives by Tara Winstead

Like a moment of devotion, prayer and communion. Trust God and be there. Do not think, discuss in your head or be calculative. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Romans 10:9-10 Speak, talk to Him, open your mouth and declare. He listens always and yes, He answers.

Speak to your friend, father, love, Lord, Master, GOD. That kind of intimacy. That kind of love. That relationship. Growing to become that believer, true worshipper, in Spirit and Truth in today’s world. It is possible. In Him, through Him, and with Him only.

Living by Faith: Is Your Life Reflecting Trust in God?

Faith. Faith it. How do you do it? By believing, and focusing on WHO He is. Who you believe HE IS and CAN do for, through and to you. Whom does your life glorify?

  • What is your life story like?
  • Do you believe God is in it?
  • Are you aware of His presence, movements, and influence in your life?
  • Does He have a say in it as LORD?

Romans 8:28 assures us that “all things work together for good to them that love God.

Do you love God?

As you go through your day remember, that your belief and faith in God shape your being, move and yes ending. It shapes your life, it shapes your thoughts, actions and the result as well. Believe in God, have faith in Christ. Choose to believe.

I wish you a glorious day!

sincerely,
